Benefit corporation (B corp)

For-profit corporations committed to creating a benefit for the general public and operating in a sustainable manner. Because they are for-profit, B corps are still accountable to shareholders. They are required to produce an annual benefit report that details their social and environmental performance. Well-known B corps include Patagonia, Kickstarter and Method.
