Small Business Growth Program

Applications are due at 11:59 p.m. CST on Friday, October 28

For entrepreneurs looking for a dedicated team of consultants (UChicago students, professional coaches, and Booth faculty) to solve a business issue, consider the Small Business Growth Program. Our goal is to help you grow your business from six figures to over $1M annual revenue.

  • 30-week program creates a targeted business growth strategy (growth marketing and/or operations) for your business.
  • Estimated six-hour time commitment per week for the first 10 weeks (beginning in January 2023), to including meetings with your consultant team, attending optional office hours, working on strategy and deliverables, and opt-in workshops.

Financial Fundamentals Program

Applications are due at 11:59 p.m. CST on Friday, October 28
For entrepreneurs looking to refine financial reporting, create financial projections, increase knowledge on access to capital, build business credit, and manage business finances to achieve profitability and improve cash flow.

  • Estimated time commitment is two instructional hours per week and an average of two hours of outside work per week with dedicated MBA student team support for eight weeks, beginning in January 2023.
  • By the close of the program, each business will create a package of financial and business information commonly required by lenders.
  • Note: This program is targeted towards South and West Side business owners with approximately $250,000-500,000 who are seeking guidance on improving their financial reporting and using financial statements to make strategic decisions.
