New Ventures Team Member Spotlight
I am an associate in the firm’s New Ventures group. I focus on representing and advising entrepreneurs and emerging companies from formation through funding to exit. In short, I help individuals bring their ideas to life! Prior to joining Thompson Hine, I represented commercial lenders, private equity funds, and public and private companies in domestic and cross-border commercial lending transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
Outside the office, I enjoy golfing, rock climbing and cheering on my hometown Browns, Guardians and Cavaliers. I also love to travel, and as a firm believer in accomplishing big dreams, you can often find me planning my next trip as I work my way toward visiting every country in the world – 22 and counting!

Thompson Hine’s New Ventures team is proud to support and be actively involved with the Zane Access Capital Readiness Accelerator Program. On October 11, members of the New Ventures practice group presented Venture Capital 101: Determining your Legal Structure and How to Choose the Right Startup Lawyer. The interactive session covered VC terminology and how to know whether an investor is helpful or a pending aggregation while also listening to the needs and challenges of diverse founders.

Thompson Hine Supports JumpStart Ventures Ohio VC Fest
JumpStart Ventures Ohio VC Fest had more than 500 attendees who joined the inaugural Ohio VC Fest, the state’s premier VC event, convening entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders to spark valuable partnerships. Thompson Hine was proud to support this remarkable event. We had several team members in attendance with Sean Ganley moderating the “Forging the Future: Ohio’s Tech-Driven Evolution in Legacy Sectors” panel discussion. We witnessed a remarkable exchange of ideas, insights and experiences. The energy was palpable; the immense and positive response is a testament to the statewide excitement for building a connected and thriving VC and entrepreneurship ecosystem. The summit highlighted key technologies and industries critical to Ohio's economic vitality, including enterprise SaaS, healthcare, fintech and manufacturing. We look forward to next year’s event in Cincinnati.
