Thompson Hine LLP

Thompson Hine LLP is pleased to announce that the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) has selected Thompson Hine partner Jamar T. King as a Fellow and managing associate Lauren A. Davis and associate Jacob J. Denham as Pathfinders. LCLD actively promotes diversity and inclusion in the legal profession through initiatives aimed at advancing a new generation of leaders.

As a member of the 2024 class of Fellows, King will take part in a year-long, in-depth program devoted to relationship building, leadership training, small group sessions and extensive interaction with LCLD’s leadership, members (managing partners and general counsel) and alumni.

A partner in the firm’s Business Litigation and Government Contracts practice groups, King has experience representing businesses in a wide range of industries in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country, and he particularly focuses on providing litigation and compliance support for clients operating in the complex realm of government procurement.

As members of the 2024 Pathfinders class, Davis and Denham will participate in a program for diverse, high-potential, early-career attorneys designed to provide practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks through relationship-building skills, foundational leadership skills and an understanding of career development strategies.

Davis is a managing associate in the Corporate Transactions & Securities practice group. She focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions and handles a wide variety of corporate matters, including corporate reorganizations, commercial agreements, and employee stock ownership plan acquisitions.

Denham, an associate in the Corporate Transactions & Securities practice group, focuses on a broad range of transactional and securities matters. His experience encompasses assisting with corporate acquisitions and sales. He also has experience with mezzanine debt, venture capital and private equity financings.

Thompson Hine participates and supports the 1L LCLD Scholars program. The LCLD Scholars program matches law students with attorneys from LCLD member organizations, providing them with professional experience and introducing them to the value of relationships and building networks with LCLD members.
